The Wash High Majorettes start their season off by trying out in the spring/beginning of summer. After tryouts, practice begins for upcoming events such as the Whiskey Rebellion Parade. Practice continues throughout the summer until Band Camp.

Band Camp usually lasts a week long and is lots of fun! Band members (including majorettes) stay in dorm rooms at the California University and practice at a field provided by California University. This is where the half-time show will be learned. Once the football season stars, our main focus is on friday nights. The band practices two times a week, once in a parking lot and once at the Wash High football stadium. The end of football season is the end of Twirling season , until we start up again in the spring.
